Kinsley Power Systems involved in 40 car pile-up in Maine, helps emergency workers

By: Patti Dinneen

Yesterday, Kinsley Power Systems Technician Mark Gifford was part of a massive 40-car pile up on I-95 near Bangor, Maine.  Mark said he was driving along the interstate when a pick up truck spun sideways in front of him.

Gifford was forced to climb out of his truck through the window.  He said he spoke with an official tied up in the accident, who told him the roads looked like a wall of white prior to the crash.  After getting safely out of his vehicle, Mark was able to provide chains, stored in his Kinsley Power Systems truck to aid other drivers in the accident.

Working for Kinsley serving customers all over New England, Gifford says he spends a lot of work time on the roads, but has never seen anything like this.

“I saw a lot of injured people being pulled out of vehicles it really didn’t look good.”
